In N scale I'd like a Zoom All option. I would like to not only see, but to be able to manipulate objects on the entire drawing area at once. How bout a select all or select window? Yeah, select window is likely a bit much. That's a lot of coding. Select all would be real nice.

I don't really want to pick at nits, Michael, but here goes....

I can't tell from your post if the 'select' issue and the 'zoom' issue are the same or possibly connected. I've had the same problem with several of your posts. Please, don't take me wrong - this is not any sort of a flame or anything, I just want to be able to understand better. To that end, separating individual issues into paragraphs, or bullet lists if you will, would be helpful. It may seem trivial, but all we have to communicate to each other with is the keyboard and it doesn't convey inflection well - even if the emoticons are used  .

Actually, I haven't disagreed with any of your ideas, yet. (The day is young, ha, ha  ) A little confused a couple of times....

there is a select all. I think you saw and used it. Under the selection menu there is a select all.
Control a is the keyboard shortcut.

I don't really understand zoom all. How is that different than screen zoom? To see a whole project at once use "print preview" I guess maybe you are asking to move things around in the print preview?

Dale, thanks for the input. I'll keep that in mind.
When there are points (or swamps) of confusion, ask. My intention is to help make a better application, not to be a pain in the tail.

I never saw the Select All option before, my bad.

Zoom All suggestion:
Under Screen Zoom there is-
50%
75%
100%
etc%
OK?
How about:
Under Screen Zoom there might be-
Extents (Like AutoCad) or 'Zoom All'
50%
75%
etc%

Yes, like print preview but editable. Wouldn't be useful for placing trim but for rough positioning large chunks of wall without having to pan around. which makes me dizzy(er).

ok. Like print preview but editable. We will look at that.
Dizzyer we don't want! How about a bigger monitor? I have a huge one I got cheap w/free shipping on eBay. Look for older models
