SRV Ron,
Thanks so much for the advice. MB works now, I ran it as Admin and I also ran it as XP Service Pack 3. No problems now. Your help was just what was needed.
Thanks Friend,

Re: Win 7
Evande, I took SRV Ron's advice and went into the properties and changed the shortcut to run as admin and also as XP sp3 it works now. It has been a long time away from MB I guess I got to busy. I'm doing an HO layout in my basement now for my grandson, he's 4. He adores trains! Can't wait to finish...

Win 7
Anyone have a problem between Windows 7 and MB? When I save a file and try to open it later it's missing imported items or they have move around. I have 1.7.0 I tried the new update but the background turns blue when I reopen a file that was in progress. Any help would be appreciated

Re: new issue
Evande, I installed Win 7 now after the recent crash. The jpg's I have work fine, the gif opens fine in firefox. None of the gif pictures I have work in MB. They used to work before the new install. Re: new issue
I'm running Win 7 now. I noticed my gif's were saved as index files so I was converting my gif's to RGB and then I noticed that they still remain as an index file after I saved them as RGB and opened them later. I don't know if the index file is the problem or not.

new issue
When I import a gif file into MB then save the file, when I reopen it the gif is gone. I made sure that it isn't an index file, and it's in RGB. Help Please?

Crash!
Hi Evande, My computer crashed AGAIN!I went to install MB and it needed a password. I thought I wrote it down from the last time I had a crash but I couldn't find it in my little blue book of passwords and the like. Is it possible you could send it to me? I know I can get all the updates from the si...

Re: re-arangement of items after save
The files are in the right directory. I downloaded a building other than my own from the file share and it looks fine. All the buildings I've made up to this point were made on either XP or Vista. It looks like there is and issue with Win 7 after you've made a building on another OS. I also made a n...

re-arangement of items after save
I design a building and then save it. Later I open it up again and a lot of the parts have moved. I don't know what causes this. I would appreciate any help
