Decal Making with Model Builder
Hi All, While Model Builder is great for making up your own designs for buildings of all sorts, sizes and scales, I found out that I can also use it to make up custom decals for my projects. Having the Graffiti Add in, that was one of the first angles that I wanted to try. It has worked out quite we...

Re: A Small Switch Tower
Hi All, I have been doing a bit more detailing to my lower floor section of the switch tower. I wanted to see how close all this was going to be to scale and I wanted to add a bit of interest to the area so I placed a figure from Model Powers' Working Men over the open grease bucket in front of the ...

Re: A Small Switch Tower
HI Evan, I mostly built the first one just to see if the pieces parts fit up the way they were supposed to. I am already working over the final version, I have the lower floor built up with the interior layout parially finished. I used some sections of the industrial door pattern in light gray to fu...

A Small Switch Tower
Hi All, I have a small RR layout in N Scale that was in need of a few structures so I started tinkering with the software to come up with some things to fit in there. As my layout, a 4X4 foot sized scene, is somewhat on the small side, building sites are at a premium and will have to be figured out ...

Re: My first graffiti experiment run amok!
Hi Evan, Thanks for the kind words. I have used white paint under decals in the past, mostly on really thin ones that have a known history of covering color issues. Also some of the expensive models that have darker colors overall have issues using just about any sort of decal without a white paint ...

My first graffiti experiment run amok!
Hi All, Since getting this software I have been having entirely too much fun. I scored some clear inkjet decal paper and gave that a try to run off some of the graffiti decals. I figured out in short order that I really should have used the white inkjet decal paper to do the deed. None the less, it ...

Re: New shop front
Nice looking storefronts there. You have to love the ease that the software makes in getting all this down on some cardstock. Did you use the Advertisement plug in to make those up?

Re: Cropping or am I missing something?
Thanks Evan and/or Shelly, I was wondering about what that triangle with the white edges was about, just hadn't gotten the courage to give it a shot yet. I will have to experiment around and see how it goes. I can understand about the rotate and angled crop, so I will just be patient and amuse...
