Re: Working in scales smaller than 1/220
Hello David. I find that many of the larger buildings, fire stations, town halls, railway stations, etc., can be googled, and accurate measurements picked up from scale drawings. Or the building is local enough to be photographed and any relevant features measured. If you can get one or more buildin...

Working in scales smaller than 1/220
The Model Builder set up screen offers scales down to !/220 (Z scale). However, a little known feature of the program is that it will scale down as small as 1/500, simply by checking the other box and keying this value into the 1: box. Naturally if you use small scales, there is a tendency to try to...

Models from face-on photos
If a modeler can obtain a photograph of the face on view of a building, as attached, that he, or she want's to model, they can guess the size from the doors, and can, as I did, mirror the frontage in a paint program, to produce the rear, and cut and paste to re-arrange anything required, can crop pi...

Re: Print Error #0 5311
Hi Shelly, The PDf document was blank, and the direct print just threw a blank page. However, your suggestion to use the alternative print routine under 'printer settings' worked fine. I selected 'N' and was able to print directly and create a Pdf document via PrimoPDF. So everything is now fine. Th...

Trying to load into primo today, didn't prosuce anty error message, so maybe some marker was left set when the error code was output yesterday. However...

Print Error #0 5311
I downloaded Marcus Billiard Hall from the 1/160 category. I loaded it into model builder and imported a copy of the cover photo as a reference guide. Each time I try to print it to PrimoPDF I get the above error message followed by the instructions to save and reload the file and try again. If it f...

Re: smal house with overhanging upper storey.
In the caer of many of the houses with overhanging upper storeys, the top storey leans outwards, so my next attempt was to produce a larger house, with this feature. It worked fine but indicating where the tabs should be has proved difficult.... I will upload it anyway, but if anyone downloading it ...

Re: smal house with overhanging upper storey.
No, with my camera even at 1/400, which is the scale I used to design it, it's just a tiny blob, with hardly any detail. I scaled it up to 1/160, and quickly bashed it together for the photos and to test the 'fit'. I'm very impressed with MB. It sometimes seems to struggle with the conversion, but i...
