Re: Printing issues
Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I already had the updated driver, even reinstalling it, while the test pattern shows that it is printing fine. That's why I think it may be a software problem. Never mind. Difficulty is that I built some railway workers cottages, where the print was fine, but I...

Printing issues
Hi, recently I have been having problems printing out Mb4 files of brick and stone paper, getting some awful casts, and inconsistent colours. It may be that my printer (once a very nice Epson R800) is on the way out, but before I take drastic action can I ask a question? When you recommend matte pho...

Re: Wish List
Hi, can I second the request for arches to match the brick and stonework already available in Model Builder? I've been building some railway cottages using one of the brick sheets, and printing the windows on OHP acetate. However, I can't get any window arches to match, whilst the ones provided in M...

Globe Worsted Mill
I've always had problems constructing industrial warehouse and factories which require a lot of windows. Woollen mills in the area of England that I model had many windows. Trying to get them straight and work out a way of glazing them has always been an issue. Not any more. Using Model Builder, a s...

Re: Wish List
Just to let you know that I contacted John Wiffen at Scalescenes re making Mb4 files of his stone paper sheets. He said he was unlikely to do this himself as he hadn't sold that much of the brickwork. However, he did say that he had no objection with using his stone papers in Model Builder, but for ...

Re: Wish List
Hi, thanks for your comments. Yes there's nothing to touch acrylics, dry brushing and weathering powders to give some texture, especially to 2d modelling. I would use PSE7 just to add variety to the background, and windows, but when it comes to the final touch you need some anologue hands-on. Indust...

Re: Wish List
Hi, this is the link to the photo of the partially completed mill building, with a lot of detailing still to do. It ended up about 6 foot long, hence the 144 windows which Model Builder made so much easier to do. These building dominated, and still do, the skyline in the north of England and the woo...

Re: Wish List
Hi, thanks for the weathering tips. Back in March I e mailed John Wiffen re a stone plug in. He said he would consider it but he wanted to see how the brick one did first. Maybe you can encourage him by telling him his first plug in is doing so well! I uploaded 2 mb4 files of stone panels and window...
