Having problems opening up some sample files, I decide to uninstall the complete application then re-installed with the original CD plus the updates now to V1.7.34 and all the sample projects have now vanished.

What did I do that I should not have?

If you have Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 the sample files are located in the following folder c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Evan Designs\FileIO
This folder may be hidden from users on some computers, or could be restricted from allowing the program to open the files because of antivirus setting restricting program access.
If you do not get the sample files to appear, do a search of your computer's C: drive for one of the files: 5Story
The other sample files will be located in this same folder.

I found all the files OK under FileIO / BldFile but when I click on Sample projects, I do not get a list of them.

I use Windows 7

You will find the files in the file sharing site are provided by a more diverse group of modelers with more variety of styles. Most Model Builder Users like them better than the ones provided with the program. You are on the forum for the file sharing site now.
Evandesignsmodelbuilder.com main page has hundreds of files.

With the sample files if you can rename the extension mb4 in the sample folder. Then open them at the Model Builder Setup Screen using the "Open Saved" option.
